Amazing Grace

It's amazing to see how God actually work in someone's life in a mysterious work that is far beyond our imagination. Often we would think that " this person is hopeless" , " he don't deserve to be save" , "she won't accept Christ as her Lord" and the list goes on and on.

But after looking at my aunty's life (dad's elder sis), it changes my perception of how God can work in way we can't see or imagine. I then realised that, how small/insignificant am I. What is impossible for God when He is the one who created this universe by just His words?

Aunty was an devoted buddisht/taoist when we were staying together, it was during primary 2 if i'm not wrong. Everyday, she would be the first one to wake up and clean the "idol" and offered new fruits etc..

Thank God she got saved after married because her spouse shared the Gospel to her . But that's not the reason why she became a christian but because God used her spouse as a channel to allow her to know Jesus. Was/am touched by her life has changed after accepting Christ into her life, the way she thinks and talk is so different compared to last time. I remember when she just got saved, she was like telling me she has finally found the way, truth and life. In other word, the true God. And how foolish of her (that's what exactly she said) to have been praying to idol - "god" that are made by man and also followed blindly.

Am really delighted to witness of her new-born (baptise) and how her life reflected to be a good testimony for Jesus so that other may see Jesus in her! I prayed that God can continue to use her life to be the salt and the light of this world that many will get to know of their Saviour and God (:

I was once again, struck by the same emotion after hearing what someone said. It was about going to club and etc. I just really really detest people from going to club, esp those people around me. They're destroying their life slowly there, drink until drop , irregular life style , looking for temporary pleasant and etc.. I just couldn't imagine people around me are actually going through this but yet I can't seems to do anything about it ?

Not saying that I'm much more in a sense, " holy" than the rest. But I really thank God for giving me this strong area in my life , for knowing that it doesn't suit me. And I did went to club for once, but when I was inside, I know that it was just so wrong.

Once again, I've someone who told me that they can't wait to reach 18 so that they will be able to enter club. Like , it really just hurt me so much when i heard that. To some may feel that I'm being too exaggerate, they will think that " it's okay what, only once " But man, I've seen too many of such case and at the end of the day, what they got was just an empty feeling within them...

I pray that I will be able to be an blessing to those around me, that His light will shine for those who are in the dark because the consequence may just be too great to handle

school have been really busy, it's so unlike what people define it as "slack"! timetable is so ppppaaaccccckkkk everyday :/
But thank God that church camp is coming in like a few days time (: I really need it! not to go and enjoy myself but really spend time with Him, to really set aside time. And my room-mate will be mr eugene png! wahahha!! it will be interesting ^^

had my first poly exam today! it's been a long time since i saw mcq in the exam paper! hahah! man, poly and jc are really two different places. You can really see different types of people in poly, esp those you can't stand , for me at least? hahah!

Thank God for the 3 days break I could have otherwise I think I would just drop dead! It's only the 2nd week of school but yet I couldn't really take it because of insufficient rest & so much things to be done! seriously speaking I think I would need more than 24 hours a day!

Father, I prayed that You would teach me how to balance my time well enough & in whatever I do, I do it for You. Always keep my eyes upon the cross no matter how big the problem may be. Guide me as I live all of my days for You & only You. In Jesus's name, Amen .

was reading through The Link & saw this verse in one of the pages

Jeremiah 33:3 (NIV)
"Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know"

This verse just hits me very hard after I read it. It's just so amazing , call upon His Name and He will answer you whatever you want to know. Don't know why, I'm just so in love with this verse (: It's so simple to understand & filled with so much of His love! awww.. just can't wait for that day to come (:

and yea, had dinner with carrot after like 5 hours of non-stop mugging! need to start my "engine" going again ! hahaha! finally, i'm the board game king :D

1st week of school! It was good though i'm not really used to it, maybe it's the timing & I had to wake up like super duper early! And thank God for a wonderful class (:

went down to cck stadium & so glad that ijc's track team managed to cling a medal in the boys 4x100m relay (: another medal after like so long eh? hahaha! Though many things happened before the relay, but still, well done guys :D study hard for As!!

have not been spending time with Him this week ): many things were going through my mind & I'm / was so tired everyday! pray that I will manage my time well and to read His word daily...

oh man!! I'm so happy for IJ's track team for finishing top 3 among all the JC in 4x100m! was really shocked when I saw the result online, like didn't expect them to finish 1st in their heats! So cool can! And they beat schools like hci, ri , aci... wahahahha :P

can't wait for next thurs, seeing them getting their medals! it been a long time since IJ track team got it's track medal! yea yea yea :D

today's freshie orientation was good though FOC was better(duh!) Did the mass dance & school song again! haha! fav part man (:

HELLO GUYS! wooohooo! just came back from tp's foc! Oh man, don't know what to say other than SUI OH(nice!) But I really love the school's spirit alot! Like 101% you can't find it in other poly, no doubt! :P hahaha!

The GLs(group leader) were super nice people! They fan for us almost like everywhere kinda thing & passed us bottles whenever we wanted to drink :D This is what I can school spirit! Like who cares if you're year 1 , 2 or 3! And yea, new people comes and go, so is the year 3 GLs! man, they were awesome :DDDD

In addition, the people I was group with was fabbbb too! :D like thank God that i'm able to communicate with them well enough & etc. or maybe i'm childish and looked young :D wahahaha!!

I wanna to be an GL next year! to pass on the TP's spirit to the next generation (: TP ROX! SUI OH :D

I found a video in Joshua Harris' webside & that video was written in his book "I kissed dating goodbye". It's really a good/creative way to points to our need for a Savior who can rescue us from the punishment our sins deserve. And "The Room" is a story that helps explain what he accomplished when he died on the cross for the sins of the world. HELLO HELLO! Finally I've uploaded everything! (actually only half of what I have) These pictures were taken when I was viewing the apartment with my coach! I'm actually working for him anyway! It's such a cool job right ^^

anyway, we went to this apartment at Yarwood Ave I think, along bukit timah road. The house is like SUPER BIG can! like real big!! hahha! the pictures will speak for itself! think you have a big house or big toilet? think again :P

but there's not the point! The owner of all these property(she has like a few?!) is a person who is full of faith! Like she was sharing her testi with us like how she got through everything by God's grace (:
It's real touching and nice to hear that! like we were there standing & listening for more than an hour i think? sharing how God has touched her life and etc.. The fact is that , she's real real real rich! but she's so humble, not showing off , you know those rich tai tai that kinda thing. The way she dress too, looks just like some market grandma! And i think she has something to do with the bible collage or something too! like whoa?! hahahha! blessed women! most importantly, faithful women! (:

But anyway, today then i realised that it's so difficult to lead in worship. I have been leading only a song during youth, but James top up to 2 this week. Well, maybe I'm not fully depend on Him to lead but on my own strength which is sure to fail. like really thank God for showing me that worship without depending on Him is really nothing, nil , zero , un-do-able! went to hosptial to visit grandpa yesterday made me realised that how fragile is life, here today and gone tml that kinda of thing. was trying to share gospel with him but there was like communication problem, he doesn't understand what i said because i can't really speak dialect that well. it's really hurt to see someone so close who doesn't know Christ.

every thurs's street e , i can go around and share with people whom i don't even know, but when comes to people like parent and etc, it's just so difficult, real difficult .. sometimes i even had some thoughts like "since my parent keep rejecting the gospel, why bother to stay on and feel sad when there's alot more people outside waiting to listen to it!"

& Lord, i pray that if this is by You, please guide my path ..

And thank God so much for answering prayers! it's like i prayed yesterday and God answered it today! I was actually praying for a guitar and a part time job since i'm like so free. Text Fredrick(ex-coach) to ask if he has any job to intro and he replied " you're God sent"! hahaha! so cool right, like i need a job and he needs help too! Also , it just so happened that he doesn't want his guitar anymore and decided to sell it to me at half price! ($150) . oh man, how great Thou art (:

went to bible study and He really spoke to me through it! there was this part where pastor Jason was saying that we must take the first step that God wants us to then he will show us the 2nd step, but not asking for like the last stage/step. It's like so applicable to me because before that i was like afraid what will happen after i enter poly and etc, but after today He taught me that just wait for his 2nd instruction and not to worry what's going to happen in the future time. It remind me of some verse in the bible that says each day has enough of it's problem , why worry about tml when we already have so much trouble for today(paraphrase). An encourage verse to me Jeremiah 29:11 " For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" so nice right :D

Had a wonderful day yesterday(sunday) with eugene and sicheng after service! we were walking around in some mall looking for sicheng's thingy but the shop was closed!!! >:(
we ended up in eugene's house plaing DW6! hahaha!

Anyway, after the service malcolm came and talked to me regarding the discipleship thingy. prayed about it and hope that He open the door for us :D

God has been real good (: I mean He's always been good!

Thank God for the ijc prayer group! Like since the prayer group started, the number of people was always less than 10. But last friday, 19 people were there!! It was like so amazing la, like 4 times more than what we usually have! (: God is great , all the time! But yea, was feeling kinda sad because i'm leaving the school.. oh well.. 5 more days and the posting result will be out! scary scary man. hahahah

And just one more thing to share with everyone! During the prayer group meeting, someone shared something to us which really hit me real hard. His brother passed away last week without Christ ): and he's entire family member trust the Lord, but not him ... I was real sad and it affected me for the whole day. But thank God for that brother who shared with us and remind us to share his words whenever we can..

hello hello! blogging in school's library before the stupid "Home Coming" Exam. It's those who failed or just passed for the end of year students and yea, i'm happened to be one of them ... oh well.. just now had a talk, but abit of tension with the new v.p of my school. The exam start like 5 plus end around 7 plus and today i'm supposed to go for street e , but can't due to this exam. So he was like telling me that studies is like more vital and etc, but i told him that i put my God infront of everything. He was like kinda disagreed to what i said and still said that i should put my studies above everything. Well, i admit that a student's resp is to study hard , but without putting God above all, all things wouldn't be able to do well right? argh.. I dont' want to miss street e ):

And thank God for like the application of the poly, though the posting result is not out yet but yea. 2 days ago when i was about to leave tp to school for training, i met this 40 plus years old man i think. He just came up and talked to me about what courses am i going to pick and etc, suddenly we switched our topic about God and i found out that he's from fcbc. I dont' know but i felt that it was God who sent him to speak to me in a way or the other. He was like saying that because i choose tourism as my first choice, he said that it's a very selfless job because when people is resting, i am working. Also he said something like it may be difficult for me and my future wife to stay close in a married because of work. hahaha! sound kinda weird but quite true eh?

But anyway, I've applied for jae and dae just now. I would have to wait for the interview and posting result which is on end of the month i think.

Last thing, again thank God for giving me a trial recently and let me see that He is the only one who is always faithful & will never leave us (:

Joshua(HCI) is going to Thailand tml! And I'm so going to miss him because he's my dinner pal :D hhahaa! yea, went to have dinner with him just now though I had one with weiqiang because i may not see josh anymore ? okay, i know this sound kinda weird, but after seeing lots of things that happened around me, i just want to like treasure the people around me? Like who knows something may happen to him over there, not trying to curse him or whatever, but when God wants him to be back home, there's nothing we can do. The only thing we can do is to treasure them when they're still around ?

And just fyi, i'm not being emo or whatsoever, but i feel that it's true right? like people come and go just like that, so yup.

Had a short but good chat with weiqiang, really thank God that He placed him into my life and yea, thank God :D

After 3 days of adam khoo's workshop.......it has finally come to an end!!! I must say that it was really super duper duper nice ! Esp the last part when Mr Gary Lim was giving his "depart speech". He was saying something like a we shouldn't be a hypocrite and don't be a sunday christian! I was kinda shocked when he said that because he sound like a pastor Xp

But after listening to what he said, I can really see that he has been through many trial that God had set for him. But was gald that he still hold onto the faith! And he's really a nice person/teacher beacause he gave everyone his email and told us that whatever problem we face, we can feel free to mail him. Like though the course is over, but he is still willing to help, FOC too anyway.

And.... I kinda feel sad after the course, like this is one of the last time I will be seeing my school best pal, Nick, because he's going over to poly next year. And though i clear my promote, chances of me going over to poly is kinda high too, which means to say that i won't be with my classmates anymore ):

hello! attend adam khoo's longggggg workshop today, find it kinda useful and interesting! Esp the last part of the day, where we had some numbers game! hahaha! super duper fun! Though was like from 8.30am to 9pm , but worth it la ! :D

But I always tell myself that, at the end of the day, he's just like us too. Meaning that we're all human, he's not someone who has divine power or whosoever. However, we still must depend on Him & Him alone! That's why I was quite regret that I signed up at first, but it turned out to be great :D

And I like one of the part when they talked about this guy, Nick Vujicic! He is limbless, missing both arms at shoulder level, and having one small foot with two toes protruding from his left thigh. I'm really touched by his faith towards God & when they play the video below in the lecture room just now, felt sososososo moved can!

In life, we always complain to God, why this why that happened to me. And all these things or trial were just minor test to test our faith toward Him, so that we can learn to be more depend on Him. But before even we start to complain to God, let us reflect that how God has been good to us & there're more people out there who are like facing trial that we can't imagine. I guess everyone is the same, we love to take things for granted that was given by Him, thinking that it's obligation for Him to do that. Well, I learned something today which is to realised that we must make full use of what we have, instead of complaining what we don't. Just like Nick Vujicic, God gave him a pair of eye & ears! So he made full use of them! And now, we can see that God really used him though he does not have any limbs (:
I believe that God will use ANYONE, as long as you go according to His will & you shall see the way (:

anyway, IJC first track&field coach came today, he's none other than Sharan's coach Mr Tan. Well, his training method is like 180 different from mr ram, like more of drills and workout. Oh well, things will be very very different in the future time i guess :/

dickson and I did something quite......SMART! hahaha! Actually we wanna to watch some movie at causeway point(woodland), but the show we wanna to watch is not available. So we took a cab and went all the way to vivo to watch! hahahah! This is what we call post-exam activity :P

When i was reading that blog, i realised that I must really learn and know how to depend on Him and shouldn't be worrying at all. The dad and mum of Ashley joy was strong because they know that He's always with them and all these were all His plan for them. The vital part is that, the plan is plan to prosper them , but not harm them! Could really felt that pain when i was reading the blog, created so much impact on me! Sometimes we doubt His will for us, we tend to choose to live according to our own will because we though that we really know what is the best for us when we don't. He really works in strange ways that we won't be able to know or see , only until we see the outcome then we realised that God is great! (:

Teaacher's Day celebration in school was quite fun! hahah! not bad not bad :p
The best part was when the teachers were acting in some play, it was funny la! The best of best part was that school end around 10 plus when they said that it was supposed to end around 11 plus! phew! otherwise i can't go back to sec schoool . But anyway, i was planning to pon , so no different Xp

Went back and managed to give all my gift and card away! Really really miss sec school life ): the food too! TJ , HB & I went to KTV after that but that stupid thomas didnt' go with us >:(

In the end , we spent around 5 hours because the crowd was really packed! She bought a laptop and a desktop for herself though, that's why we took so long. oh well, though didn't really study much today(like almost nothing) but at least i spent more time with my mum! And thank God for the wonderful children's sport day! We got 4th okay!( out of 4 teams) but we enjoyed ourselves la :D

Recently, something happened & made me ponder as a christian. I had this bottle with a sticker " Jesus Is Coming Back" on it and usually i would hold this bottle around because it's kinda big. Just to let you know , almost 60 - 70 % are muslim student. Anyway, the problem was that whenever a muslim teacher stepped into the class, i would keep my bottle under my chair because I dont' want to let him or her see the sticky on it. I dont' know why, but that was like "fear" feeling within.

The other incident was that one of my muslim classmate suddenly came and asked me "Why are you so devoted? " At first I was happy because it means that people have see Christ living within me, which is a good thing. BUT then, come to think about it, I don't think I'm one. In front of people , we always talked about how great is He and etc , but when comes people who is outside of church , the imagine portay is 180 different from what we are supposed to be.

From these small incident that happened around me, i realised that i must learned how to depend on him more so that I won't have the "fear" feeling again and must not be ashamed of His name too!

Tml is national inter school final!! Finally it's the last day of this year's competition! I really missed lots of work when i was away for the heats and etc. I feel like quitting school and just get into poly or something, even Sharan has the same feeling as I do. It's not easy to handle school work and cca well, seriously.

After national, must really study super super hard! At least at the end of the day, even if i fail, i will fail with no regrets i guess? And yea, my summer test i did really really badly, it's like so many "Uni" grades can.

Children's Camp was great!! Really thank Him for allowing me to serve him as a group leader so that me myself can grow too! As you guys know, I don't attend church when I was young, so the things I learn was only during youth service. Serve in children's service and camp really aid me to know more about Him from the start! It's like you have to go thought primary school education before going on to secondary ? hahaha!

Not only that, I got to know and bond with more of the children too! Then I realised that I'm still young eh? hahaha!!

Anyway, it's also my honour to serve in green team because I've a wonderful leader (((((:
Cos of this camp, then I start to know my leader better! HAHA! And I can hear that He told me something.....but so unsure! oh well..

After been through his training for like 2 weeks plus, I have been missing for my youth and Sunday's service. That was once I train at 7.30am, in the end I got lecture by him because I train alone. Today was the long waiting national inter school cross country !
And yea, finally i got my FIRST national medal! hahaha! came in 14th position which i think is not that bad? But hci boys didn't managed to retain their championship :(
Well, at least they tired their best! But the girl's team came in 1st ! They were like so zai can! Everyone was like so close to each other.

I'm really going to miss alot of people in hci because most of them are like j2 and they don't plan to train for the track meets anymore :(

He was with me through my tiring workout today! We did 1k x 3sets and it was great :)
All I told myself during the run was that I run for Him and for His glory !!

Anyway, after the workout , we had something special today! We went to the poolside to have our legs soaked into the ice water! It was said that it helps us to recover faster and it's good. But it was really super cold and painful la! We did 3 sets and 3 min per set. Mr ram told that we're supposed to do this after every workout , time trial or races.!

Time in JC was really fast! Everyday just passed like that and another weekend is coming ! =)
Well, I've more or less got used to the crazy timetable though i'm still feeling tired and etc.

And tml I can join hci for training again! :DDDD
Lesson ends at 12.40 tml! hopefully there's no extra lesson for us , unlike other classes :X
so yea! I love training with them man :D

Anyway, I went to Botanic Garden with IJC people today to look at this year national inter school cross country's route. One word, STUPID! The route is like so narrow and it's like only 1.5m width can. There will be hundreds of people on that day la,tsk.! But I heard from Mr Wong(IJC Coach) that they couldn't book turf city and macritchie this year.. It's around 4.3 or 4.5 for boys & 3.7 for girls if i'm not wrong. Went through the route once & hard run for the 2nd time. know what, i was lost la! hahaha! I was really lost & didn't know where to go and etc. Yea, need to run a more few times.

March holiday next week! :DDD
Our teacherS told us that there will not be any geo and chinese bridging lesson for us! :DDDD wahahaha! And and , i'm kinda looking forward for the march holiday which is like next week because of the packed activity! Going for mum's chalet, church camp , wings cross country!
